WHALING CITY RECLAIMED BRICKS

Our Whaling City reclaimed brick is also recognized as salvaged, antique, recovered, historic and old brick. Our brick is unique, it comes from a dismantled mill building which stood tall for over 120 years in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Our Whaling City Bricks are incomparable, limited by quantity and naturally aged for a timeless look and feel. Sought after by architects, builders, masons, and craftsman for homes, retail stores, galleries, offices, restaurants and many other uses. Each brick is different from the next, size, color, shape, however thickness is constant. Visually our bricks convey a truly authentic look and feel.

Reclaimed Brick Source

Our reclaimed bricks are in its full original size. During the process of demoltion and salvage each brick was reviewed before stacking onto a pallet for resale. Some of our reclaimed bricks recovered from the rubble were cleaned from the previous grout stuck to the brick.

Reclaimed Brick Path

Our local artisan Dustin Brunelle of Outermost tile recreated an old brick pathway. The reclaimed bricks were rotated with the narrow side faceing up to show its true character. Full size bricks were chosen over tile for its strength. Especially for any weight bearing projects such as a pathway.
